I can’t beleive that it’s already May. Of 2006.
I know that they say that time flies when you’re having fun… But, let’s be honest, I live in Germany. And I’ve been here for three and a half years. How much fun can that be on a scale?…
So, somehow I think that this idiom about time and flight must apply to if you’re busy too. Because I’m extremly busy at work. And when I’m not at work, I’m busy at the gym. Ok, I guess you could argue that I do have a lot of fun at work – and the gym as well – but somehow I kind of think that this whole idea of “fun” was supposed to describe other things. Like dancing. Or just playing around.
One of the ways I do play around is to go on holiday. And when I go on holiday I usually fly. As does my holiday time. So when I take my summer holiday this year [which I’m very much looking forward to] I’ll be flying to visit family and relatives in Switzerland and friends and aquaintances in Sweden. That should be a lot of fun. And it’ll keep me busy.
And as I’ll be flying, having fun and kept busy, I’m sure that before you or I know it another couple have months will have flown by before I’ve written anything of any interest on this blog.
